Nine things we learned from round six
How did your team's players fare in this weekend's state leagues?
After the siren: There's nothing 'flat-track' about the Eagles' bullying

OUR FIRST week with the rollout of new dual-position players was a winner for some, while a number of coaches never recovered from the suspensions of star Hawks Luke Hodge and Jordan Lewis, taking a scoring hit for the week. David Mundy was a popular pick on the back of his added defender eligibility and he didn’t disappoint with another outstanding score of 114.

Fantasy Pig

Long overdue recognition this week, with star Saint David Armitage receiving the Pig nomination. He has had an amazing season to date, including five straight scores above 110 and he topped that off this week with a whopping 144 from 45 touches. He has come from nowhere to become one of the 'must-haves' in midfield.

Fantasy Prestigacomo

The addition of defender status for Daniel Rich was a gift from the Fantasy gods, or so his owners thought until he had a shocking game against the Blues where he was held to just eight possessions and 44 points. He may not be the defender 'keeper' that so many coaches had hoped for.

Junior Swine

Young Crow Jake Kelly had a breakout game, managing 19 possessions and an impressive 12 marks on his way to 104. With so many backline 'premiums' misfiring, it was great to see this youngster show them how it's done. He looks to be a great cash cow that would be a nice emergency option.

You are smashing it, keep up the good work! Must be nice to see a couple of those guys featuring in the top 10! Hopefully Selwood's hand doesn't cause him to miss games.

It's a long season, mate, hang in there! And on a positive note, the boys are moving in the right direction for you.

Haha, you are not alone there. It is a long two weeks for coaches who held on to him. You should be rewarded on his return, he has a nice run leading up to the bye.
