WEST Coast youngster Simon Tunbridge will come under Match Review Panel scrutiny after a dangerous tackle left GWS defender Adam Kennedy concussed.

Midway through the final quarter, Kennedy had the ball and tried to break clear of Tunbridge's tackle. But the Eagle pinned one of his Kennedy's arms and slung him to the ground.

Kennedy's head the ground hard, causing a nasty concussion. The 24-year-old lay motionless before he was taken from the field on a stretcher.

He was later seen up on his feet in the rooms and returned to the bench as he watched his side lose to the Eagles by one point.

Giants coach Leon Cameron questioned why a free kick wasn't paid for the tackle.

"I didn't look at it in fast motion but I looked at it in slow motion," Cameron said.

"The reason why they've brought in a rule (is) to pay a free kick on (tackles like) that.

"There's no doubt clearly he was a bit stunned.

"He's a tough kid, a tough player and always puts his body on the line.

"We'll wait and see over the next two days to see how he feels."

Eagles coach Adam Simpson said he didn't see the incident.

"I know that's what I'm meant to say but hand on heart I didn't see it," Simpson said.

"I hope everyone is OK."
