ST KILDA development coach Paul Hudson will end his tenure with the club at the end of the season after choosing not to look for a new deal.

Hudson has been with the Saints since the end of 2010 and has coached the Saints' VFL affiliate Sandringham for the last two seasons.

The Zebras are seventh on the ladder and made a preliminary final in 2015.

"He has had a profound impact on the development of our playing group and has been an invaluable member of our football department," Saints coach Alan Richardson told saints.com.au.
