PORT Adelaide has re-signed two key players to new deals.

Midfielder Brad Ebert has penned a three-year contract extension, while key defender Jack Hombsch has signed on for another two years.

It follows on from the Power announcing on Monday night they had locked away NAB AFL Rising Star nominee Sam Powell-Pepper and promising ruckman Billy Frampton until 2020 and 2019 respectively.

The Power now has 13 players off-contract for next season, with free agents Jasper Pittard and Jackson Trengove heading that list.

Ebert is having an impressive season, averaging a career-high 25.8 possessions and 7.9 tackles per game.

The 27-year-old spent his first four seasons with West Coast before being traded to the Power at the end of 2011 to continue a family tradition at Port Adelaide.

Brad's father Craig played 182 games for the club in the SANFL, while uncle Russell is a four-time Magarey Medallist with the Magpies.

"When I first came home, I was pretty keen to stay here and see my career out here," Ebert told reporters on Tuesday.

"It's an exciting time to be able to sign on for a few more years and keep giving back to the club."

Hombsch, 24, has played an important role in the Power's defence after an injury-interrupted season in 2016.

"We're both South Australian boys. The club has been great to me after coming across from the Giants and I've loved every year so far," Hombsch said.

"It's nice to get it done.

"A couple more years and I'm very happy.

"It's good to see your teammates commit and hopefully there's some more to come.

"It shows we've got a good culture going on here and we've got things building.

"It's good to see young guys, especially interstate guys in Billy and Pepps hang around as well."
