CARLTON has continued its massive list overhaul, with Blaine Boekhorst, Billie Smedts and Simon White delisted.

The Blues have now finalised their list ahead of the drafts with 13 confirmed departures.

Boekhorst was drafted at No.19 in 2014 and despite showing some decent signs late in the season, was largely underwhelming through his 25-game career.

Carlton no longer has any player it drafted that year on its list, with Dillon Viojo-Rainbow (No.28), Clem Smith (No.60) and Jayden Foster (No.63) having since departed.

Smedts joined the Blues from Geelong at the end of 2016 in a complex swap that saw Zach Tuohy become a Cat.

The 25-year-old lined up in 47 matches for the two teams (nine for Carlton) after being drafted with pick No.15 in 2010.

White, 29, carved out an 87-game career as a defender after being picked up as a rookie in 2009.

Football manager Andrew McKay paid tribute to the trio.

"Simon was a hard-working and popular member of our playing group and had an unfortunate string of injuries that restricted his ability to maintain consistent selection in the senior side this season," McKay said.

"He has been a reliable contributor to our side since he arrived at the club in 2010 and is a wonderful young man with a bright future ahead.

"We would also like to thank Billie for his services in his time at the club. He provided valuable experience to a young playing group in the past year across both the AFL and VFL programs.

"Blaine arrived at the club as a 21-year-old and managed to string together 25 senior games in his three seasons at the club. We thank all three players for their contribution and wish them well for their futures."

Bryce Gibbs was traded to Adelaide while Dennis Armfield, Daniel Gorringe and Matthew Korcheck have retired.

Dylan Buckley, Andrew Gallucci, Kristian Jaksch, Rhys Palmer, Ciaran Sheehan and Liam Sumner have been axed, although Sumner is training with the Blues in the hopes of being picked up again.

The 13 departures follow on from 14 last year and 15 in 2015 when Brendon Bolton took charge.
