Mature-age Crows rookie Pat Wilson was again a strong performer for Adelaide’s SANFL side, which suffered a 21-point loss to Norwood at Coopers Stadium on Friday night.

Wilson, 23, gathered a team-high 25 possessions to help an understrength line-up to a competitive performance.

Father-son prospects Ben Jarman (18 touches and a goal) and Jackson Edwards (18) showed glimpses of their undoubted potential.

Curtly Hampton had 21 disposals and kicked two goals, while young key forward Elliott Himmelberg also contributed two majors.

One Crow who didn't hit the scoreboard but should have was first-year key forward Darcy Fogarty, who muffed an elementary chance to put the Crows in front early in the last quarter after marking in the goalsquare.

This weekend: GWS Giants v Brisbane - Saturday, April 28, 1.10pm, Spotless Stadium

Veteran Bewick and rookie-listed Beams had amassed 27 and 26 possessions respectively by three-quarter time.

Sam Mayes sat out the second half as emergency for the senior game.

Bonar, 18, was one of the Giants' few consistent ball winners with 23 possessions, behind only former Bulldog and Giant Dylan Addison's 25.

Wood was enormous for the Roos with six goals, while Garner added four of his own.

Nick Larkey (three goals) also hit the scoreboard and was among North’s best players, while young tall Sam Durdin was very good in defence for the third consecutive week.

McCartin, the younger brother of St Kilda’s No.1 draft pick Paddy McCartin, had the ball on a string early, kept presenting and finished with 1.2.

Aliir Aliir battled hard in a variety of positions, including the midfield, in a bid to lift the Swans.
