JARROD Harbrow has taken his name off the free agency list, signing a two-year contract extension with Gold Coast.

Meanwhile, Michael Rischitelli will play on in 2019 with the club set to delist him and then redraft him as a rookie.

Harbrow, an inaugural Sun, is coming off arguably his best season, playing all 22 games and averaging 22 disposals.

"I feel like I’ve got a lot more to offer both on-field and off-field to help the club get to where we want to get to," Harbrow told goldcoastfc.com.au

"I’m thankful for the opportunity and looking forward to bigger and better things in the future."

Harbrow, 30, has played 154 games in his eight seasons with Gold Coast and was named a life member late in the season.

He said the impact of Stuart Dew had a lot to do with his optimism about the club.

"I’m really invested, as much as I’ve ever been, and the confidence I’ve got from the club and their help in my development both on and off the field, helped me put pen to paper," he said.

"The program he (Dew) has put in place and the people he has bought in so far have really made a big difference."

Rischitelli played 21 of a possible 22 games this year to take his career tally to 236 across 15 seasons with Brisbane and the Suns.

"It's great to see the direction the club is heading under coach Stuart Dew, and I'm excited by the opportunity to be able to play on in 2019," Rischitelli said.

"I definitely feel there is a lot I can still contribute around the club."
