Collingwood has made one change for Sunday's match against Sydney with ruckman Josh Fraser returning for the afternoon encounter.

Forward Chris Dawes has been omitted from the side and will face Frankston in the VFL on Saturday afternoon.

After undergoing a minor knee operation earlier this month, Fraser has fully recovered and will play his 15th game this season.  The 27-year-old is expected to share the ruck duties with Cameron Wood, the duo up against Darren Jolly, who amassed a record 53 hitouts in the round 12 encounter earlier this season.

The Magpies will be aiming for their eighth straight win against the 2005 premiers on Sunday afternoon.

Sydney has lost midfielder Luke Ablett (132 games - corked thigh) and has included Jared Crouch (221) for the match.

Collingwood can wrap up third place with a win against Sydney coupled with a Western Bulldogs loss to Geelong on Friday night.

The squad will be finalised at 5 pm on Friday.  Please check the website for the final team.
