JEREMY Cameron is expected to take his place in the Greater Western Sydney line-up to face Port Adelaide on Saturday despite undergoing a minor procedure on his left ear.

Cameron suffered a perforated eardrum following an accidental knock to his head in the first quarter of last week's loss to the Gold Coast, but managed to play out the game, kicking four goals.

There had been some suggestion the 21-year-old was facing a stint on the sidelines due to the issue, but the club is confident he will head to Canberra for the match against the ladder-leading Power.

Ruckman Shane Mumford will be absent for at least another week as he continues his recovery from knee surgery, while defender Tim Mohr is nearing a return from his own knee problem.

The Giants' midfield could be set for a boost for the clash with the Power, as Josh Kelly (hamstring), Lachie Whitfield (foot) and Rhys Palmer (hamstring) are all available for selection.

Palmer hasn't played since the round one victory over the Sydney Swans, while Whitfield has been absent for a month.

NAB Rising Star nominee Kelly had only been missing for a week with a minor hamstring issue.

Dylan Shiel, who made a strong comeback from a quad issue in the reserves last weekend, is also in line for a recall to the senior side on Saturday.
