SOUTH Australia has comprehensively thumped Western Australia, running out 84-point winners in the NAB AFLW Under-18 Championships.

Hannah Ewings and Georgia McKee – who only turns 16 in two weeks – kicked three goals apiece in the rout, which was set up with a five-goal second term at Thebarton Oval on Sunday.

Shineah Goody (eligible for next year's draft) was named South Australia's best after recording 34 disposals, 10 marks, nine tackles, four clearances and kicking a goal.

She was well-supported by North Adelaide's Ewings, who had 21 touches and five inside 50s to go with her three majors. Ewings is eligible for the upcoming draft and is a member of the NAB AFLW Academy, as is Goody as a bottom-ager.

It was a tough day at the office for Western Australia, struggling to get its hands on the footy.

Ruck/forward Georgie Cleaver (next year's draft) was the visitors' best with 11 disposals, six hitouts, two clearances and a goal, while last year's Championships MVP Ella Roberts finished with a team-high 16 disposals, seven inside 50s and a goal but was not named in the bests by her coaches.
