FIRST-year players Jordyn Allen, Ava Usher and Olivia Wolmarans are the standout names is the 2026 AFLW All-Australian squad, while Geelong leads the way with six players picked.
The 42-player squad, which will be trimmed to 21 at the W Awards later this month, features six Geelong players - the most of any club - while Gold Coast, Melbourne and North Melbourne have five each. Brisbane is the only club to not have a player selected.
Wolmarans (selected at No.1 in the 2025 Telstra AFLW Draft), Usher (No.7) and Allen (No.16) have all been selected, having been first-round draft picks less than 12 months ago.
North Melbourne star Jasmine Garner has been selected as she aims for what would be a record eighth All-Australian blazer.
There are 20 players in contention for their first All-Australian selections, while 12 players are looking for back-to-back blazers, including Irish trio Dayna Finn (Carlton), Niamh McLaughlin (Gold Coast) and Aine McDonagh (Hawthorn). There are six Irish players in this year's squad, after five were named in last year's final All-Australian team.
The final team will be announced at the W Awards on Monday, November 23.
