From a strong AFL footballing family, her brother Jed is currently an AFL star with North Melbourne.

Had some eye-catching performances for the Ranges this year, with her natural leap, aerial strength and goal kicking features of her play either up forward or when in the ruck. From an athletics background she played six matches, averaging 11.8 disposals, 2.3 marks and 1.5 goal, winning selection in the NAB League Team of the Year. Had a leg injury late in the season but was able to represent Victoria Metro in two championship matches and show some glimpses of her enormous potential.

Height: 165cm
Midfielder who can play on the inside or outside using her prolific ball winning ability and composed disposal by hand and foot to great effect. A natural leader with a very aggressive attack on the ball she averaged 27.6 disposals (15.1 contested), 5.3 clearances for the Western Jets in their premiership winning team. She backed it up winning All-Australian U18 honours for Vic Metro in the championships as well as being named as captain for the NAB League Team of the Year after being runner-up in the competitions’ best and fairest award.

A former junior athlete who excelled in shot put and discus, clearly indicating her strength and power. She made the SANFLW Team of the Year in 2021 as a 17-year-old.

Powerful half-forward/midfielder who dazzles with her speed from stoppages which compliments her great natural leap. She won the NAB League Girls’ best and fairest award this season averaging 17.4 disposals and kicking 18 goals in ten matches and being a member of NAB League Team of the Year. Also was named All-Australian following impressive performances for Vic Country and to top of an outstanding year was named among Australia’s U18 girls best players in their win over the All-Stars.

Capped off a great year earning NAB League Team of the Year selection for her performances with the Stingrays.

Ultra consistent defender who plays tall using her one touch marking overhead and aggressive spoiling to great effect in aerial contests and provides terrific rebound for her team. Averaged 9.3 disposals and 2.7 marks showing an ability to defend against different size and types of players in the championships earning All-Australian U18 selection. This topped off an outstanding year being a pillar in defence for the Western Jets premiership team and being selected in the NAB League Team of the Year.

Emily Everist

Evolving defender who is new to the game with a soccer background, she covers the ground extremely well and can play tall or small. Played mainly in a negating role in her eight games with the Pioneers averaging 8.5 disposals but stepped up to impress with Vic Country averaging 10.3 disposals, two marks and three tackles across the championships. Added to her athletic profile recording a 7min 28sec time in the 2km as part of the Combine testing, ranked fourth nationally.

Hannah Ewings

Prolific ball-winning midfielder who pushes forward where she can hit the scoreboard regularly, kicking six goals across the three games. Outstanding in the championships averaging 21.3 disposals (10.7 contested) at an impressive 70.3 per cent efficiency playing a key role in South Australia’s undefeated team as well as winning All-Australian honours.
