BROUGHT TO YOU BYNAB

IT WILL be a battle for bragging rights in Tasmania's edition of the NAB AFLW All-Stars match, with Team South taking on Team North on Wednesday at UTAS Stadium in Launceston.

The restrictions around COVID-19 have led to a restructure of the traditional NAB AFLW Under-18 Championships, with individual matches taking place around the country.

While some states have opened the door for over-age talent to take part in these matches, just a handful of 19-year-olds will take part in Tasmania's match.

The youngest participants are born in 2004 and won't be eligible for the NAB AFLW Draft until 2022.

Team South will be coached by AFL Tasmania talent manager Cameron Joyce and will feature NAB AFLW Academy member Amy Prokopiec, who is unable to be drafted until next year.

Their opponents, Team North, will be led by former Kangaroo and this year's NAB League Tasmania Devils coach Emma Humphries.
