The 17-year-old Bissett, who also plays state league soccer, had a starring role either side of the half-time break in the 6.7 (43) to 5.4 (34) victory at UTAS Stadium in Launceston.

Inside midfielder Ruby Mitchell worked tirelessly all match, while Ashanti Jackson provided a safe pair of hands and a classy set-shot up forward.

Play was intense and messy for the opening 10 minutes, before both sides settled into what eventuated into a tough affair.
