The AFL is pleased to announce Caitlin Greiser from the Richmond Football Club has been named the winner of the 2023 rebel AFLW Goal of the Year award.

Greiser's outstanding check-side goal earned her the 2023 rebel AFLW Goal of the Year at the 2023 W Awards at Crown Palladium on Monday night.

Greiser's goal in Round 10 was selected by the All Australian committee (counted as nine votes) and by public voting (counted as one vote).

Her goal was selected over finalists Danielle Ponter's (Adelaide Crows) goal from the centre circle in round Two and Niamh Kelly's (Adelaide Crows) running goal against the Bulldogs in Round Seven.
