AS ANTICIPATION builds towards the milestone 10th NAB AFLW Season, accessibility and affordability for fans remain a priority for the league, with general admission ticket prices frozen for the 2025 home and away competition.
On sale from tomorrow, Tuesday 15 July, general admission tickets for adults will remain at $15 while tickets for juniors (under 18) will continue to be free for the 10th consecutive season.
Club members will have access at the early time of 10am AEST tomorrow, with the general public able to purchase tickets from 2pm AEST.
Clubs will again provide additional ticketing categories and premium offerings at their home venues, allowing for elevated experiences for members and fans to get up close to the action and their AFLW heroes.
With one month to go until the season kicks off, a host of AFLW players will help celebrate at IKON Park next Monday 21 July as they come together to recreate an iconic moment from the first match.
AFLW General Manager Emma Moore expressed the AFL’s excitement for the upcoming season.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the 10th season of AFLW this year, with some amazing match ups and players set to deliver us even more incredible moments,” Moore said.
“We’re also pleased to confirm a price freeze on all general admission tickets for the season ahead in line with our absolute commitment to accessibility.
“We look forward to seeing every fan up close and personal to the action, cheering their teams and being part of the unique atmosphere and match-day experience AFLW has to offer.
“The countdown to Round 1 is well and truly on and we can’t wait to see everyone at the footy.”
Round 1 kicks off on Thursday 14 August with Carlton hosting Collingwood under lights at IKON Park – a nod to the first-ever AFLW match between the two teams back in 2017.
It will be the first of two matches in a big Thursday night of footy as primetime viewing stretches to the west coast, where the West Coast Eagles will take on the Gold Coast SUNS at Sullivan Logistics Stadium in Leederville.
