BROUGHT TO YOU BYNAB

WESTERN Jets forward Jemima Wood went the extra yard when completing the NAB AFLW Combine 2km time trial at home over the weekend.

With all Victorian participants recording their times via the Strava app due to lockdown restrictions, Woods was unable to go to an oval to run the distance as she was isolating.

Instead, the Bacchus Marsh product ran up and down the driveway at her family's property, recording a highly respectable time of 8:15min, especially considering she had to turn around at points.

Woods has footy in her blood, with her grandfather Michael having played 72 games for Melbourne between 1949 and 1953.

Calder Cannons midfielder Zali Friswell topped the Victorian charts with a run of 7:08.
