Matthew Jaensch is the latest young Crow to be called into AFL action.

Adelaide has named the Sturt half-back/half-forward in its 22 to take on Port Adelaide in Saturday’s Balfours Showdown at AAMI Stadium.


Star defender Nathan Bock also returns after missing two games with a sore hamstring, and Scott Stevens is back after recovering from concussion. 

Jaensch, 20, was elevated from the rookie list two weeks ago. He will be the sixth player to make his debut for the Club this season, following Tony Armstrong, Will Young, Chris Schmidt, Ricky Henderson and Phil Davis.

Taylor Walker, Jack Gunston and Jonathon Griffin are the emergencies.

Adelaide trains on Friday from 10am at AAMI Stadium.
