CARLTON defender Billy Wilson has landed the final Telstra AFL Rising Star nomination for 2026 after a strong performance against Fremantle.

Wilson starred down back in the Blues' incredible 37-point win over the minor premiers at Marvel Stadium on Satuday afternoon.

The smooth-moving half-back had 18 disposals, nine marks and five score involvements as the Blues continued their impressive run of form under coach Josh Fraser.

It continued what has been a consistent season for Wilson, who hasn't missed a game since coming into side in round nine.
