MELBOURNE superstar Daisy Pearce is yet to make a decision on her playing future, according to long-time teammate Lauren Pearce.

Daisy played a starring role in the Demons' record-breaking win over Fremantle in round nine, kicking five goals from 17 disposals that included 12 score involvements.

It has been reported that Geelong has offered Daisy a role as assistant coach with the men's team, but Lauren said Daisy has told the team she’s yet to make a decision.

"I think she can play on and I reckon our whole team and the League think she can play on … I think she still wants to play on but at the same time she needs to weigh up what’s best for her and her family," Lauren Pearce told Credit to the Girls podcast.

"She’s had a conversation with us girls and she said, 'right now I'm focusing on playing, wanting to play finals and wanting to perform'.

"Daisy said that she won’t be talking about that or making that decision until the end of season happens."
