Claremont booked its spot in the WAFLW Grand Final after it defeated Swan Districts by eight points. Swan Districts kicked four goals to Claremont’s one in the first-half before the Tigers stormed home, kicking five unanswered goals to keep their premiership hopes alive.

State League Players

Claremont's come-from-behind win came off the back of some strong performances from Jasmine Stewart and Kate Orme.

Stewart picked up 20 disposals and five tackles while Orme had 18 touches and five inside 50s in the win.

Katherine Bennett was dangerous inside forward 50 kicking two goals from her 12 disposals.

Sarah Garstone also kicked a crucial goal for Claremont and Madeleine Scanlon was among the best for her 17-disposal and five-tackle performance.

For Swan Districts, it was Ruby Mahony and Isabella Edgley who did their best to keep their side's premiership hopes alive.

VICTORIA

The Southern Saints were victorious over Casey and are into the VFLW Grand Final. After an even first quarter, the Saints broke away from the Demons in the second term and ran away 20-point winners.

State League Players

Southern Saints' Hannah Stuart was again among her team's best with 22 disposals, 11 tackles and eight clearances.

Tayla Kearns and Chanelle Slater were again dangerous around goal, kicking two majors each in the win.

Grace Buchan and Gabriella De Angelis also put in big performances to help their side to the Grand Final, picking up 23 and 17 disposals respectively. De Angelis also hit the scoreboard with a goal and Buchan had a game-high seven marks.

Casey’s Samantha Johnson had an impressive 15 tackles to go with 16 disposals and Maeve Chaplin was also impressive with her 19 disposals and eight clearances.

NEW SOUTH WALES

UNSW-ES enjoyed a 27-point win over Macquarie University at home.

The UTS Bats were forced to come from behind to defeat the Pennant Hills and were eventual winners by 39-points.

Manly Warringah Wolves held the North Shore Bombers to just one goal on their way to a 66-point win.

Sydney University broke away from Inner West Magpies in the second half of their clash to run away 23-point winners.

State League Players

Gabrielle Anthony had a best-on-ground performance for the UNSW-ES Bulldogs with her three-goal effort against Macquarie University.

She was well supported by teammates April Devine and Maddy Kohlrusch who were impressive in the win.

For Macquarie University, it was Emily Davie who stood up for her side in the loss to the Bulldogs.

Jessica Quade's three goals for the UTS Bats were instrumental in her side's win over Pennant Hills.

Jacqueline Green and Kaitlyn Manning were integral in Manly Warringah’s big win over the North Shore Bombers, with Manning kicking three goals.

Bombers' Matilda Eder put in a good performance in the tough loss to the Wolves at home.

Bella Gray and Saskia Johnson helped Sydney University to its win over the Magpies.
