TOUGH Western Bulldogs midfielder Isabelle Pritchard and Geelong’s Darcy Moloney have both been recognised for their performances with round 10 NAB AFLW Rising Star nominations.

The 178cm Pritchard, made her debut last season, playing four games and has solidified herself as an important member of the Dogs' side this season, not missing a game.

The 20-year-old, who grew up supporting the Western Bulldogs, was selected at pick No.11 in the 2020 NAB AFLW Draft from the Western Jets.

She becomes the third Western Bulldogs player to be nominated this season after Elisabeth Georgostanthis in round seven and Nell Morris-Dalton in round nine.

Pritchard was of the shining lights in the Dogs 32-point loss to the Lions, collecting 14 disposals, displaying her aerial ability taking five marks and laying two tackles. 

Moloney was selected with the Cats' first selection at the 2020 NAB AFLW Draft after the midfielder impressed whilst captaining the Geelong Falcons.

The 19-year-old famously made headlines earlier in the season as she kicked the winning goal in Geelong's first win of the season against West Coast back in round five.

She enjoyed a strong 2021 VFL Season where she averaged 17 disposals across 12 games. That form has transferred through to her 2022 NAB AFL Women’s campaign, where she has become a regular. 

The tenacious youngster collected 12 disposals and laid an impressive nine tackles as the Cats lost their final game of the season to a clinical GWS outfit. 

Players are eligible for the NAB AFLW Rising Star if they are 21 years and under as of January 1, 2022, and have not been previously nominated. 

Two players will be nominated per home and away round of the NAB AFLW season.
