Club: Collingwood

Coach: Steve Symonds

2019 captain: Steph Chiocci

2019 best and fairest: Jaimee Lambert

2019 in a nutshell: A season the Magpies would prefer to forget after a campaign that never gathered momentum. Finished on the bottom of Conference B and were the worst-performed AFLW team after losing their first six games (they still haven't won a game inside the first three rounds), including three by single-figure margins, only saluting in the final round with a six-point win over Brisbane.

New players: Kaila Bentvelzen (Casey Demons VFLW), Brianna Davey (Carlton), Ebony O'Dea (Greater Western Sydney), Alana Porter (Oakleigh Chargers/Collingwood VFLW), Machaelia Roberts (NT Thunder), Aishling Sheridan (Ireland/NT Thunder)

Notable departures: Darcy Guttridge (St Kilda), Nicole Hildebrand (delisted), Melissa Kuys (St Kilda), Cecelia McIntosh (retired), Iilish Ross (Richmond), Holly Whitford (Richmond)

Inactive players: Nil

YOUR CLUB'S 2020 LIST Who's in, who will miss the season?

2020 opponents: West Coast (h), Carlton (a), Fremantle (a), Melbourne (h), Western Bulldogs (h), Brisbane (a), St Kilda (h), Geelong (a)

Circle it: Former Blues skipper Brianna Davey has sensationally transferred to Collingwood so her first AFLW clash with her old club at Carlton headquarters in round two will be compelling viewing.

FULL FIXTURE Every round, every game

Player to watch: Young playmaker Chloe Molloy, the 2018 NAB AFL Women's Rising Star, missed this season with a Lisfranc injury and will be keen to make up for lost time.

Best Rising Star chance: Mikala Cann and Katie Lynch

2020 prediction: The Magpies will finally break the shackles and make the AFLW finals for the first time. Inaugural coach Wayne Siekman has been replaced by the experienced Steve Symonds, who spent the previous three years setting up the women's program at SANFL club Norwood. The Woods, who won this year's VFLW premiership, will be boosted considerably by a raft of recruits, particularly ex-Carlton star Davey.
