FRIDAY night's match between St Kilda and West Coast in Frankston will not proceed as planned due to a number of players in the Eagles' camp being impacted by the competition's health and safety protocols.

The AFL has confirmed that despite these fixture updates, they are committed to every club playing 10 rounds this NAB AFLW season.

AFL general manager competition management Laura Kane said the League would work closely with the Eagles and Saints on future fixturing arrangements for those teams.

"The health and safety of the Eagles program, the AFLW competition and the wider community remains paramount," Ms Kane said.

Both St Kilda and West Coast are winless after three rounds.

The Eagles are currently still fixtured to play Collingwood at Victoria Park on Tuesday, and have been hubbed in Melbourne since round two.

For supporters who have purchased tickets to attend the St Kilda-West Coast match, the ticketing agent will issue a refund. No action is required from the ticket purchaser.
