THE Western Bulldogs have delisted premiership-winning defender Fletcher Roberts and midfielder Lukas Webb.

Roberts leaves the Bulldogs after playing 51 games in eight seasons, but the 26-year-old key defender managed only two senior appearances this year.

His best season was in 2016 when he featured in 18 games, including the preliminary final and Grand Final wins.

Webb – the 27th pick in the 2014 NAB AFL Draft – played 24 games in the past five seasons, but the 23-year-old midfielder couldn't break into the senior side this year.

"We thank Fletcher and Lukas for their contributions at our football club," general manager of list and recruiting, Sam Power, said.

"Both were part of team success in 2016, with Fletcher an important member of our AFL premiership side and Lukas among the best performers in Footscray’s VFL triumph.

"They have been well-respected members of our playing group and we wish them all the best for the future."

Roberts and Webb join retired trio Dale Morris, Liam Picken and Tom Boyd as departures from the Bulldogs’ playing list this year.
