AFL Statement

The AFL advises the Match Review of yesterday’s matches of Round 12 has been completed. Two charges were laid.

Charges Laid: 

Harry Schoenberg, Adelaide Crows, has been charged with a first offence of Careless Contact with an Umpire during the first quarter of the Round 12 match between the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide Crows, played at Metricon Stadium on Sunday August 16.

In summary, he can accept a $500 sanction with an early plea.

Based on available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Contact with an Umpire. The incident was classified as a $750 sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a $500 sanction with an early plea.

Jake Kelly, Adelaide Crows, has been charged with Engaging in Rough Conduct against Jack Macrae, Western Bulldogs, during the fourth quarter of the Round 12 match between the Western Bulldogs and Adelaide Crows, played at Metricon Stadium on Sunday August 16.
