A strong clash between current top four teams, Hawthorn and the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos, will open the round at Kinetic Stadium in Frankston at 7:15pm (AEDT), followed by the West Coast Eagles who will host Carlton at Sullivan Logistics Stadium in Leederville at 9:15pm (AEDT). The Eagles – who are sixth on the ladder – could be vying for their first finals appearance.
On Saturday 1 November the GWS GIANTS will battle it out with Port Adelaide at Henson Park from 1:05pm AEDT, while Richmond takes on the Gold Coast SUNS at IKON Park at 3:05pm (AEDT).
The action on Saturday continues in New South Wales when the Sydney Swans host Essendon at C.ex Coffs International Stadium. Kicking off at 5:05pm the Swans will be striving to lock in a top eight finish.
The Geelong Cats go head-to-head with Melbourne under Saturday night lights at GMHBA Stadium for their last home and away match, with the Cats hoping to secure a finals berth and the Demons looking to shape the top four in the 2025 NAB AFLW Finals Series.
Three games will take place on Sunday 2 November with all games likely to have an impact on the top eight. Collingwood will be aiming to pack out Victoria Park for their final game of the season against the Brisbane Lions, who will have eyes on the McClelland Trophy and $1 million in prize money.
Meanwhile across town St Kilda – who have jumped into eighth spot on the ladder – could be looking to secure their maiden finals appearance when they take on the Western Bulldogs at RSEA Park at 3:05pm AEDT.
The final match of Round 12 gets underway in South Australia between the Adelaide Crows and Fremantle at Norwood Oval, with the twilight match kicking off at 4:35pm (local time). There will be plenty on the line for the Crows who might need the win to secure a home final.
AFL Head of Strategy and Scheduling, Josh Bowler, said the final round of the 2025 NAB AFLW home and away season has the potential to shape the top eight.
“In the final round of the NAB AFLW Season there will be games that will have implications on the finals series, and there will be plenty at stake for many teams,” Bowler said.
“With so many clubs in the mix to play finals – some for the first time – it will be an exciting run home for fans, teams and players, and we hope they’ll garner strong crowds to cheer them on.
“The opening game of the round will be a great finals preview between two teams at the top of the table in North and Hawthorn which will provide a terrific spectacle for Friday night footy, followed by West Coast and Carlton who we know will be looking to shape the top eight when they meet at Sullivan Logistics Stadium in Leederville.
“With the McClelland Trophy up for grabs and one million dollars in prize money, there’s plenty on the line for these games and ladder positions heading into finals. Especially for teams like the Lions in their clash with Collingwood, Hawthorn up against North and Adelaide in the final game of the round against Fremantle.
“I’d like to thank all our stakeholders including our clubs and broadcast partners for their cooperation and support in creating the fixture and finalising Round 12 of the milestone 10th season.”
