The AFL wishes to congratulate the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos' Tahlia Randall ahead of her 100th AFLW game this weekend.
Randall will become the fifth player to reach 100 AFLW games, following Ebony Marinoff (Adelaide Crows) and Ally Anderson (Brisbane Lions) in Round 7 this season and Breanna Koenen (Brisbane Lions) and Libby Birch (North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos) in Round 9.
"On behalf of the AFL, I would like to congratulate Tahlia on reaching 100 AFLW games," AFL CEO Andrew Dillon said.
"One of the competition's most prolific goalkickers, a premiership player and now the fifth player to reach 100 AFLW games, Tahlia has only missed one game on her way to this fantastic milestone - a testament to her commitment and reliability.
"I encourage all fans to get to Arden Street Oval on Saturday afternoon to celebrate Tahlia's milestone game as the Kangaroos take on the Adelaide Crows in the second week of Pride Round."
The AFL's Historian has compiled a list of key numbers and achievements across Randall's career:
- The Brisbane Lions' second pick and the 15th overall of the 2016 Draft
- Debuted Round 1, 2017 against Melbourne
- Rising Star Nomination in Round 6, 2018
- 15 games for Brisbane from 2017-18
- Signed with the North Melbourne Tasmanian Kangaroos ahead of their entry into the competition in 2019
- The only person to have played in every single Kangaroos game to date (84 games)
- 2024 premiership player. Had previously played in three losing Grand Final (2017, 2018 and 2023)
- Won AFLW Mark of the Year in 2022 S6
- The Kangaroos' leading goalkicker in 2022 S7 (12 goals) and 2023 (21 goals)
- Randall, who started her career as a defender, did not kick a goal until her 31st career game (in 2021). This was the record at the time for most games before kicking a goal. She has now kicked 74 career goals, 73 of them in her last 57 games
- Has missed just one game in her career – Round 4, 2017 against the GWS GIANTS
