KADE Simpson is a late scratching from Carlton's team to play Brisbane on Saturday, suffering a calf injury.
Darcy Lang is his replacement.
Simpson racked up 37 disposals against Port Adelaide in his 300th game last week but couldn't overcome a calf niggle.
Lang, who was traded to the Blues from Geelong during the off-season, will play his 50th game.
The Lions are unchanged from last Sunday's win over Fremantle.
