Geelong has run out 21 point winners over Port Adelaide in the annual challenge match at the Oval on Saturday.The Cats led nearly all the way in an entertaining affair, to win 13.10 (88) to Port's 10.7 (67). Geelong midfielder Jimmy Bartel was adjudged best afield.The last quarter featured two streakers and a couple of scuffles as the Cats ran out winners.Ryan Gamble kicked four goals for Geelong, while Josh Mahoney and Domenic Cassisi booted two for the Power.Port Adelaide registered the games opening goal through Greg Bentley before the Cats reeled off five unanswered majors. Late goals to the Power saw the quarter time margin cut to 14 points.The Power kicked early goals in the second term, and when Domenic Cassisi booted his second the deficit was just one point.
