THIRTEEN matches have been locked in as VFLW clubs ramp up their preparations for the 2024 season.

While many more matches are expected to be added, Carlton and Southern Saints got the jump of the rest of the competition with a clash at IKON Park on Thursday.

Practice matches resume on Thursday, February 22 when the Western Bulldogs host Collingwood at VU Whitten oval, before Williamstown meets Darebin at Crofts Reserve in Altona North.

The Seagulls are the busiest team at the moment with three matches booked in, while the Saints don’t have another one as yet to follow their early hitout with the Blues.

There are two VFL/VFLW double header set down, with the Western Bulldogs to host Darebin and Footscray playing Box Hill Hawks at VU Whitten Oval on Saturday, March 2, while both Bulldog teams are due to play North Melbourne at the same venue the following week.
