IT IS now officially the business end of the season. For leagues running with a final eight, it all kicks off in round 20. The top four teams are playing in qualifying finals, while fifth to eighth face off in elimination finals with the winners going through to the semi-finals.

Final-six series, which is popular for 10 and 12-team leagues, will occur over the last three rounds.

While it can be tough to find some free agent gold in the final weeks of the season, coaches can still grab some good options based on opponents during the Fantasy finals.

Defenders

Callum Mills, DEF, Sydney Swans (ADP 114, 52 per cent)

Mills played in defence while Jake Lloyd moved to the wing, meaning that Mills had the kick-in duties. He played on out of the square seven times (from 10 opportunities) to gain an extra 21 points to help him to his third ton of the year.

FANTASY FORM WATCH A blast from the past

Nick Vlastuin, DEF, Richmond (ADP 253, 48 per cent)

Don't expect huge numbers week-to-week from Vlastuin, but the Tigers have started to add more Fantasy numbers as a team with an increase in marks and disposals. Expect Vlastuin to rack up higher scores than his average suggests with the Demons and Blues as their next two opponents.

Jayden Short, DEF, Richmond (ADP 158, 21 per cent)

If Vlastuin isn't available, consider Short. Draft coaches were much hotter on him than Vlastuin in the pre-season, according to the average draft pick.

Midfielders

Chris Mayne, MID, Collingwood (ADP Nil, 26 per cent)

Collingwood's injury list is long. Mayne often steps up when needed and did so on Friday night in his side's loss to the Tigers. He collected 30 disposals and seven marks. The match-up against the Suns at the MCG doesn't get much easier and the Pies have a favourable run of games to follow with the Demons, Crows and Bombers to finish the season.

Jack Graham, MID, Richmond (ADP Nil, 25 per cent)

Trent Cotchin went down with a hamstring injury and therefore extra midfield minutes will be available. Consider Graham as an option for your bench or to take a solid 90 from if you have a depleted midfield.

Scott Selwood, MID, Geelong (ADP 238, 19 per cent)

Fantasy scoring has always been there for Scott Selwood, but opportunity hasn't. After plenty of touches in the VFL this season, the younger brother of captain Joel played his first game for 93 points. This came from just 68 per cent time on ground and with the Cats heading to Perth for round 20, he's sure to hold his spot as some of his teammates possibly rest.

Ruckmen

Toby Nankervis, RUC, Richmond (ADP 64, 57 per cent)

He was in this column last week but didn't get up for round 19. He played half a game in the VFL on the weekend, racking up 62 points.

AROUND THE STATE LEAGUES Axed Crow stars, big Tiger gets through

Forwards

Jack Darling, FWD, West Coast (ADP 154, 40 per cent)

As the Eagles roll on for another top-four finish, goals are coming from Jack Darling. After kicking 18 goals in the last five weeks, Darling's last two scores have topped the ton.

Blake Acres, MID/FWD, St Kilda (ADP 143, 36 per cent)

Despite a shoulder complaint on Saturday night, Acres played out the game to finish with 96 points, thanks in part to his nine tackles. If he is good to go against the Crows this week, he'll be a fantastic free agent pick up with the Dockers, Blues and Swans to follow. Points should flow throughout the finals.
