Ken McGregor has decided to retire from AFL Football.

McGregor, 27, joined the club in 1999, playing nine matches in his first year while earning himself an AFL Rising Star nomination. His first game for Adelaide was against Geelong at Football Park on July 4.

In total he played 152 games for Adelaide – playing his 150th against Fremantle in Round Five this year at AAMI Stadium. Only 11 Crows have played more games for the club. He played in the winning 2003 Wizard Cup Grand Final.
