Playing for the annual EastLink Cup, Box Hill Hawks move back into home territory against Frankston.

Festivities this Saturday include Hawthorn FC player appearances, children’s entertainment and free EastLink giveaways.

After multiple attempts winning away Box Hill Hawks broke the shackles last weekend against Casey. Sam Gibson led the way kicking four in a tough match with both sides evenly matched right throughout the contest.

Frankston struggling this season have failed to open their account. However playing respectable games against Coburg and ladder leaders Williamstown expect the Dolphins to come out fighting.

Half-Forward Tory Dickson will provide a challenge for the Hawks so far having kicked 12 goals for the season.

Box Hill City Oval has been Box Hill Hawks happy hunting ground this season having won both matches in Round 2 & 3.

The game will also be shown live on ABC as the VFL Match of the Round.

Entry is via gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Life Education Victoria.

All supporters are invited to come down to Box Hill City Oval for the big clash, which always attracts a large crowd.  

Last time these two sides played Box Hill in Round 11 2008 won by 7 points at Frankston Oval.

The Development Team after beating Casey Scorpions by 74 points last weekend come up against Frankston. Frankston come off a good win against Port Melbourne at TEAC Oval while also seeing themselves in a comfortable position mid-table.

Last time these two sides played Box Hill ran out winners with highly accurate scoring kicking 17.4 beating Frankston by 38 points.

Starting just before the main game the Development Team gets underway at 10.20am.
