The Cats, who lost to Collingwood on Friday night, will be looking to avoid being the first minor premiers to bow out in straight sets since the top eight was introduced in 1994.

The Eagles, who have won five of their past six at the 'G, enter the clash as favourites after comfortably accounting for Essendon on Thursday night.

The AFL also released the fixture for week three of the finals with the MCG to host both preliminary finals.

Richmond will host the winner of the Cats-Eagles clash on Friday night, while Collingwood will face either the Lions or Giants on Saturday.
