GEELONG and Adelaide will both enter Friday night's clash at GMHBA Stadium as selected.

It means heavily scrutinised Crows midfielder Bryce Gibbs will have a chance to shine and cement his spot in the side, having been dropped on several occasions and not having strung more than three straight games together so far this year.

The former Blue was traded at the end of 2017 in a deal that saw the South Australian side give up two first-round draft selections.

Victory is important for Adelaide's top-four hopes. It sits fifth, trailing West Coast, which is directly above the Crows, by a win.

However, Adelaide's percentage is almost nine points higher.

The Cats are coming off just their second loss of the season, to Port Adelaide.
