COLLINGWOOD has recalled Levi Greenwood for its blockbuster clash against Richmond on Thursday night, with the tagger set to renew acquaintances with old foe Dustin Martin.

Meanwhile, the Tigers have made three changes for the highly anticipated MCG contest, opting against a like-for-like replacement for star defender Alex Rance.

The five-time All Australian will likely miss the remainder of the season due to an ACL injury sustained last week, while Bachar Houli is also an enforced change due to a hamstring strain. Promising youngster Noah Balta has been omitted.

Premiership defender Brandon Ellis has earned a reprieve in their place, while Oleg Markov and Jason Castagna are also recalled for a rematch of last year's preliminary final.

Greenwood is Collingwood's only inclusion, having kept a hampered Martin to just six kicks during the club's shock September win over Richmond late last year.

He replaces young midfielder Callum Brown in the Magpies' team.
