The Victorian Football League congratulates Daisy Pearce on her induction into the Australian Football Hall of Fame.

The inaugural VFLW best and fairest winner in the competition's first season in 2016, Pearce steered the Darebin Falcons to VFLW premiership success in 2016 and 2017.

In 2018 the VFLW best and fairest award was named the Lambert-Pearce Medal, in honour of Pearce and legendary Victorian Women's Football League (VWFL) figure Helen Lambert.

Prior to the formation of the VFLW, Pearce had already forged her name as one of the all-time greats of women's football.

She was an eight-time VWFL premiership player with Darebin, which included twice winning the Grand Final best on ground medal. She also claimed six competition best and fairest awards and won Darebin's club champion award five times.

Pearce was selected as one of Melbourne's two marquee signings for the inaugural AFLW season in 2017 and was appointed club captain, a position she held throughout her AFLW career.

She capped her playing career with the ultimate success, leading the Demons to AFLW premiership glory in her final match in 2022.

Pearce became coach of the West Coast Eagles AFLW team in 2024.
