Collingwood VFLW coach Tom Cashin joins Joe Pignataro and Gemma Bastiani on State of Play.

The Magpies have jumped into the rebel VFLW top-six on the back of four consecutive wins, all of which have come against sides sitting in the top half of the ladder.

Cashin explains how improved connection with his players has helped the Magpies overcome a 1-3 start to the campaign. He also talks about the list changes the club has experienced since the end of the 2024 season and the role star captain Dom Carbone has played to steer the team back up the ladder.

In addition to the chat with Cashin, Joe and Gemma also discuss:

- The Casey Demons catapult up to sixth spot on the Smithy's VFL ladder following four big wins in a row
- How Stewart Edge has the Bulldogs humming on the back of impressive form from Caleb Poulter
- No complacency creeping in to rebel VFLW reigning premier North Melbourne-Werribee's game
- Box Hill Hawks going stride for stride with the Kangaroos to sit just percentage off top spot on the rebel VFLW ladder
- Ladder shaping weekend in Round 9 of the rebel VFLW
- Wildcard spots up for grabs in the Smithy's VFL, with just two wins separating third to 15th
