COLLINGWOOD hopes to receive some help from above in its quest to win Saturday's Grand Final against West Coast.

Rabbi Yaakov Glasman, a fanatical Magpies supporter, will be praying for victory as he presides over his congregation at St Kilda Synagogue.

The final prayer of the morning service, Adon Olam, will be sung to the tune of the Collingwood club song.

By Jewish law Rabbi Glasman won’t be able to attend the game, watch it on TV or listen to the radio, but he will be most interested to learn the final result after the Sabbath.
