ST KILDA has made a late change for its clash with Hawthorn on Saturday night with Jake Carlisle replaced by veteran Sam Gilbert.
Carlisle will miss the match at Etihad Stadium for personal reasons.
The key defender did minimal training late this week with his partner Mel giving birth to the couple's first child, a son Nash, in the last few days.
It is understood Carlisle has also been playing with a sore back, which stopped him from training earlier this week.
Gilbert was held over from Sandringham's loss to the Northern Blues earlier on Saturday.
It's the third change to the Saints' backline this week with Nathan Brown out suspended and Hugh Goddard earning a call up for his first AFL game in over two years.
Ex-Port Adelaide defender Logan Austin has also been recalled after a groin injury while Nathan Freeman has been omitted.
The Hawks have made no changes to their final team with Ben McEvoy and Conor Glass named to replace Jonathon Ceglar (corked calf) and Ricky Henderson (hip).
Meanwhile, towering forward Oscar McInerney is a late withdrawal from Brisbane's team to play Gold Coast on Saturday night.
McInerney has withdrawn with illness.
His place in the Lions team has been taken by versatile leader Ryan Lester.
McInerney has played the past 15 games, kicking 13 goals and providing valuable support for Stefan Martin in the ruck.
There is no late changes to Gold Coast's team.
