MICHAEL Barlow has been delisted by Gold Coast, taking to twitter to confirm the news.

After moving east from Fremantle at the end of 2016 Barlow played 15 games in two years for the Suns, but just three this season.

He tweeted: "Bye Suns", with an emoji instead of the sun, on Tuesday afternoon.

Gold Coast later confirmed Barlow had been delisted, along with rookies Max Spencer, Mackenzie Willis and Josh Jaska.

Barlow played the first 12 games of 2017 before breaking his leg against Carlton and then struggled to make an impact under new coach Stuart Dew.

The 30-year-old played in round six against Adelaide, was dropped, and after breaking his jaw in the NEAFL, returned for the final two rounds.

He collected 35 disposals on Saturday against Geelong.

After being drafted via the Suns Academy, Spencer has played eight games in two seasons as a defender, while Willis did not add to his five senior appearances in 2018.

Jaska was taken in last year's NAB Rookie Draft and did not play a senior match.
