The best players from the 2025 Smithy’s VFL and rebel VFLW seasons will be celebrated at the 2025 VFL and VFLW Awards on Monday night.

The event will be held at Marvel Stadium on Monday, September 15 from 7:15pm AEST, hosted by Nigel Carmody and Jess Webster.

Among the awards that will be presented are:

- J.J. Liston Trophy (VFL Best and Fairest)
- Lambert-Pearce Medal (VFLW Best and Fairest)
- rebel Coaches MVP Awards
- Smithy’s VFL Team of the Year
- rebel VFLW Team of the Year
- Rohenna Young Medal (VFLW Leading Goalkicker)
- Jim ‘Frosty’ Miller Medal (VFL Leading Goalkicker)
- Debbie Lee Medal (VFLW Rising Star)
- Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal (VFL Rising Star)
- Umpires of the Year
- Ann Rulton VFLW Volunteer of the Year
- Alex Gillon VFL Volunteer of the Year
- VFL Life Membership

The 2025 VFL and VFLW Awards will be presented ahead of the 2025 Smithy’s VFL Grand Final, which will be played between the Footscray Bulldogs and Southport Sharks at IKON Park on Sunday, September 21 from 2:15pm.
