Dom Brew and Jean-Luc Velissaris each claimed their third-consecutive best and fairest award after again being crowned club champion at Werribee and the Northern Bullants respectively.
Brew and Velissaris were among six players to win back-to-back best and fairest honours, alongside Jai Serong (Box Hill Hawks), Jackson Hately (Essendon), Lachlan Wilson (Richmond) and Luke Parks (Williamstown).
Three clubs crowned dual winners, including Richmond where Wilson shared the Guinane Medal with Mutaz El Nour after last year tying for the award with Sam Davidson and Tom Brindley.
Luke Beecken and Deven Robertson couldn’t be split for the Brisbane Lions’ club champion award, while Donovan Toohey and Joel Trudgeon tied for the Jim Sullivan Medal at Coburg.
Fothergill-Round-Mitchell Medal winner Tom Blamires added to his outstanding season, with the VFL Rising Star recipient also taking out Frankston’s best and fairest in his first season at Kinetic Stadium.
Meanwhile, Zac Foot saluted for his first Doc Mackenzie Medal as Southport’s best and fairest, edging out J.J Liston Trophy and Coaches MVP winner Jacob Dawson by four votes.
