SYDNEY has confirmed it has signed ex-Hawthorn defender Kaiden Brand and former Port Adelaide forward Sam Gray as delisted free agents.
The news was revealed by AFL.com.au earlier on Friday morning.
The Swans have been searching for a key backman to add to their ranks and settled on Brand, who was cut by the Hawks this season after 43 games with the club.

The Swans have been actively looking at their options in the DFA space, with Brand’s athleticism and ability to hold down a key defensive post an appeal.
The 25-year-old played five games this season for the Hawks, with his best year coming in 2017, when he managed 17 senior appearances.

He will help support a back half led by co-Captain Dane Rampe and Aliir Aliir.
Gray looks set to replace former Cat Daniel Menzel, who was cut earlier this week by the Swans after just one season.
Gray booted 20 goals from 20 games this year for the Power but remained without a contract offer for much of the year and eventually begun to assess his options away from Alberton Oval.
Swans head of football Charlie Gardiner was thrilled to boost the club's forward and defensive stocks.
"We’re excited about adding Sam and Kaiden to our squad and look forward to them continuing their careers at Sydney," Gardiner told sydneyswans.com.au.
"Sam and Kaiden have both shown an ability to perform at AFL level and we think they will both be great additions to our team."
