THE LAST major piece of North Melbourne's off-field structure is in place.

The Kangaroos have appointed former Champion Data statistician Glenn Luff as their new list manager, taking over from Michael McMahon in the role ahead of next week's drafts.

Luff joined North midway through last year as the club's head of analysis after two decades at Champion.

He had since worked with the Roos' recruiting department, as well as the coaching staff on opposition strategy.

"I'm absolutely humbled by this opportunity and excited to get started," Luff said.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at North over the past 12 months and really feel like I can make a significant contribution as list manager going forward.

"I've always been interested in list management and am rapt to have this opportunity."

Luff's new role comes hot on the heels of other changes, including coach Rhyce Shaw (replacing Brad Scott), chief executive Ben Amarfio (Carl Dilena) and football boss Brady Rawlings (Cameron Joyce).
