The 2026 Victorian Diversity All Stars matches, featuring emerging Indigenous and Multicultural footballers, will be held at Trevor Barker Beach Oval on Thursday, April 9.
The showcase matches for boys and girls provide opportunities for talented players, most of whom are not currently listed by a Talent League under-18 team, to experience a Talent Pathways program and showcase their ability against talented peers.
Players who feature in the Victorian Diversity All Stars matches may be invited to trial for their Talent League region’s under-18 squad for the 2027 season or be added to the current squad for the 2026 season.
All players who have been selected for the 2026 Victorian Diversity All Stars matches are aged between 16 to 18.
Wednesday’s talent showcase matches mark the fourth annual Victorian Diversity All Stars series, with the program first introduced in 2023.
This year’s matches will be played following the 2025 Marsh AFL National Development Championships U16 Girls match between Victoria Country and Victoria Metro.
The Victorian Diversity All Stars girls match will commence at 11:30am and will be followed by a boys game at 1:15pm.
Teams will compete as Victoria Country and Victoria Metro, with the squads to be led by emerging coaches from within Coates Talent Lead programs.
