PORT Adelaide is confident captain Travis Boak and key forward Charlie Dixon will be right to face the Brisbane Lions on Sunday despite missing training on Wednesday.

Boak is away for personal reasons while Dixon has the flu.

Small forward Chad Wingard also didn't train with the team at the Adelaide Oval as he continues his recovery from concussion.

"We're just monitoring Chad with his concussion and Dicko is a bit crook with winter coming in,'' Power defender Jack Hombsch said.

"Boaky has just gone home for a day or two with a personal issue, so he'll be back and raring to go.

"We'll monitor Chad and Dicko will be fine.''

The Power are set to welcome back defender Jackson Trengove for the match with the Lions.

Trengove missed last weekend's win against Richmond serving a one-match suspension for striking Joel Selwood.

"That's something the match committee will need to discuss; he's a great player for us,'' Hombsch said.

"You expect him to play a role and be right up there to come back.

"I don't know what's going to happen this afternoon, they'll talk through that, but hopefully we can find a spot there.''
