WEEK two of the finals is over, and so is the season for many of us ... including my Classic team. Now, like many, I am clinging to my national ranking and luckily enough, my Elite team. For those still fighting it out in Classic, it’s game-on heading into the preliminary finals.

Fantasy Pig

Call it predictable, call it what you like, but predictability is a good thing in Fantasy footy when the players come to the party and the one thing you can be sure of is Pigs are party animals! That’s why Tom Rockliff was the No.1 recommended captain this week and he certainly lived up to the hype with a lazy 30 touches, 12 tackles and two goals for a round-high 174. The points lost between Rocky and popular selection Patrick Dangerfield was match-defining.

Honourable mention: Luke Parker continued his hot form with another outstanding performance. He was everywhere against the Saints, collecting 33 possessions, taking nine marks and kicking three goals for 144 points in a typically well rounded performance. He would a very nice addition for any non-owners heading into the prelim.

Fantasy Prestigiacomo

After a tremendously consistent season, Mitch Duncan's reputation as a ticking time bomb to disaster came to effect this round as he basically sealed the fate of his coaches with a shocking performance against the Tigers, who have been providing opponents with a Fantasy feast of late. He looked uninterested on his way to 17 possessions and 66 points.

Honourable mention: A score of 81 is not usually anything to turn your nose up at, but when Rory Sloane is up against the lowly Dockers in a final, it’s not enough. As we flagged, Tom Sheridan paid close attention to Sloane, holding him to just 20 possessions and an uncharacteristic zero marks.

• Around the state leagues: Who fired for your club's twos?

Piglet

Jake Long didn’t set the world on fire, but for a basement priced rookie who holds DPP, his 57 points from 13 possessions, four marks and three tackles were more than serviceable.

My Twitter feed is filling up with cruel tales of woe mate… Hurts for sure!

Hard to say no to The Bont and Laird at the moment. Both have nice draws as well.
