IN-DEMAND forward Max Gruzeskwi has recommited to Greater Western Sydney, signing a new two-year deal.

The 22-year-old was out of contract at the end of this season and his re-signing comes at a time when fellow tall forwards Jesse Hogan and Jake Riccardi are also without a deal for next season.

"It's really exciting to be able to announce a new two-year deal for Max," Giants footy boss Jason McCartney said.

"He's already showing that he can be a valuable contributor as a 22-year-old key forward but the exciting thing is we still see a lot of growth left in his game.

"We have some really promising young pieces, particularly in our forward line, and it's great to have secured Max's signature as we continue to prepare for what we feel is going to be a really successful period for the club."

Gruzewski has played 13 senior games this year for a total of 24 since debuting in 2024 after being selected with pick 22 in the 2022 National Draft.

He has kicked 18 goals in 2026 including six games with multiple goals, in a GWS forward line that has been dealing with availability issues with other tall forwards Hogan, Aaron Cadman and Riccardi.
